Latest wine to be produced in the cellar of Podere La Marronaia, this versatile wine can be combined with various palates and culinary traditions, while still respecting the typical characteristics of the Tuscan territory.
Rosa della Marronaia is produced from Sangiovese grapes from the Santa Lucia ICEA-certified organic vineyard, which slopes eastward at an altitude of 280 meters above sea level.
The quality of this wine is determined by various factors: it is not treated with chemicals, and the ripe grapes are harvested and selected by hand. The skins are macerated for 14 hours and then fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel for two months, resulting in a wine that lends itself to various food combinations, offering the typical freshness of the white and the body of Tuscan red wines.
Rose Marronaia is the wine that the family has dedicated to Rosa Bartalini, Silvia’s grandmother, the true backbone of the whole family. A dedication and the label from an old 1952 photo, which portrays her with her daughter on a beach, are the best way to remember and celebrate her.
Visual inspection: brilliant deep pink.
Smell: delicate bouquet with fresh red fruit and light floral notes.
Taste: is elegant and soft on the palate, and provides a fresh, dry, and slightly fruity aftertaste. Well structured and rightly acidic.
Serve at cool temperature between 13 ° C and 17 ° C in glasses slightly wider than white wines to encourage the dispersal of floral aromas.
It is the ideal wine for the summer season and the outdoor barbecue. It is excellent with red meats, mixed grills, and fresh food like salads and classic bruschettas with Mediterranean herbs.
