Raggio d’Anfora has become in short time our symbol, a white wine made with pure Vernaccia, enhanced by the fermentation and ageing in terracotta amphorae. The fermentation in the amphorae keeps the wine authentic aromas, preserving perfectly the soil and grape features.
In this way the wine has obtained a very mineral aromas, a strong sapidity and a velvety softness due to the wine oxygenation and the potassium released by the terracotta amphorae.
The vineyard is situated at a height of 300 meters and it has 4000 plants per hectare. The late harvest is in between the months of September and October and it is made exclusively by hand in order to guarantee the optimal wine result. The grapes are left on the vine after the physiological ripening because they need to wither in order to have a higher sugar level. Therefore, we obtain less acid wines with a more intense flavor.

Raggio d’Anfora is dedicated to Giacomo and his beautiful smile that makes our days. Giacomo is the author of the label and we decided to make it last forever impressing the label directly to the bottle.
Visual examination: gold yellow
Olfactory examination: very intense and persistent flavor. The smell is characterized by floral notes of wisteria and hawthorn. The aroma is spicy and it has hints of dry fruits.
Taste examination: soft and delicate on the palate with some hints of acidity.
Raggio D’Anfora is a structured white wine and it can be paired perfectly with light food baes with fish, white meat and vegetables, but it is perfect with spicy and strong flavors.
