Precious Tuscany Red Supertuscan wine, barricaded and from certified organic grapes. It is made of 70% Sangiovese, 15% Merlot and 15% Syrah, let aging at least 12 months in barriques. It is a well-defined but balanced and smooth wine with 14% alcohol content and a capacity to be the protagonist of the table.

Quattrorsi is a Tuscan red wine from the surrounding vineyards of Podere La Marronaia, exposed northeast on the sunny hills of San Gimignano.

Quattrorsi is a wine that softens the traditional Sangiovese grapes with grapes of Merlot and Syrah, and enriches it with a stay of 12 months in oak barrels. All the grapes come from vineyards that are organically certified and that surround La Marronaia, and that are produced without pesticides using the method of integrated control. It achieves a 14% alcohol content.

The harvest is manual to select the best grapes and takes place at different times: first, the Merlot and Syrah are cultivated, followed by the Sangiovese. The fermentation takes place in cement vats with a temperature ranging from 28 ° C to 30 ° C. After fermentation, it is put in oak barrels for 12 months.

Serve in large glasses at a temperature of 18-20 ° C.

Sensory analysis

Appearance: intense ruby red with violet hues.
Smell: intense and very persistent. The smell is characterized by the combination of notes of small fruits of black berries and mature woods with notes of vanilla and spices.
Taste: structured wine, very elegant, very equilibrated. The tannins are dense, and the wine is characterized by ripe tannins with a long finish.
