Inside we selected three of our most particular wines:
Our Raggio d’Anfora, a white wine made with pure Vernaccia, enhanced by fermentation and aging in terracotta amphorae. The fermentation in the amphorae keeps the wine authentic aromas, preserving perfectly the soil and grape features.
In this way, the wine has obtained very mineral aromas, a strong sapidity, and a velvety softness due to the wine oxygenation and the potassium released by the terracotta amphorae. It can be paired perfectly with light food baes with fish, white meat, and vegetables, but it is perfect with spicy and strong flavors.
Our Intenso della Marronaia is a 100% Sangiovese wine. The name already (“intense” in English) sums up the personality of this full-bodied Tuscan organic red wine. It has a 12-14% alcohol content and a dominant flavor, which comes from the particular soil, the age of the vines, and the aging in cement vats.
Serve it with red meat, game, roasts, or sausages. You can also pair it with sliced ham, truffles, and other foods with a strong taste that cannot be canceled by a charismatic wine.
Our Pico della Marronaia it’s an IGT Red Tuscan wine stored in oak barrels, is a blend of 50% Sangiovese and 50% Merlot. It is produced only in the best years and left in oak barrels for 18 months. This wine is ideal for a barbecue on a special occasion. Its intense flavor compliments grilled red meats, game, as well as traditional dishes with full flavor and marked tastes. Ideal with white truffle.
