The Family Tuscan Cooking class will start with a tour of our Vernaccia vineyard, one of the oldest in San Gimignano.
Then, you will be accompanied to our family kitchen to learn the secrets of Tuscan cuisine. First, you will start to prepare the dessert which can be a traditional Chocolate Salami, a classic Margherita Cake (made using a secret family recipe), the famous Cantuccini, or delicious sweet biscuits with red wine and extra virgin olive oil. Then, we will move on to the preparation of pasta (Pici or Ricotta Gnocchi), to which we will combine a sauce based on seasonal vegetables. Finally, we will prepare the famous Tuscan bruschetta and 3/4 different toppings. At the end of the cooking lesson, you will have the chance to enjoy what you have prepared in one of our exclusive private tasting rooms or our garden with a view of the San Gimignano Medieval towers. We will provide you with an additional course and a tasty selection of Tuscan cold cuts and cheeses during the meal.
This option also includes a choice of at least four organic and biodynamic wines from Podere La Marronaia, such as Vernaccia di San Gimignano and Chianti Colli Senesi, and 6 kinds of extra virgin olive oils, natural and flavored.
