POLPETTONE or MEAT ROLL

Cook with Vittoria and Giulia the Polpettone ( or Meat Roll in English ). The Polpettone is a delicious main course, with a creamy and stringy filling made of Ham and Scamorza Cheese ( if you don’t have Scamorza you can use Mozzarella Cheese ). Enjoy it with baked potatoes and a fresh lettuce salad ( season it with just Evo Oil and salt) as side dishes.

The Ingredients are:

  • 600 gr of ground beef or veal
  • 50 gr of soft bread – Parsley
  • 1 egg
  • 40 gr of Parmesan Cheese
  • Salt
  • 120 gr of Ham
  • 200 gr of Scamorza or Provola Cheese
  • Bread crumbs
  • E.V.O. Olive Oil
