Corso di Cucina Pasta Lovers– Cucina Italiana Tradizionale

The first evidences of the pasta date back to the IV century b.C. . Aristophanes, who was an ancient Greek playwright, in his operas spoke about the “ Legano “, which was a dough based on water and flour, that was rolled out and then cut in stripes ( kind of ancient tagliatelle ). The same recipes conquered also the Roman Empire.

PROGRAMMA

Is for all this reasons that we decided to celebrate this important and traditional Italian product, making a special Pasta experience where you will learn how to make three different kinds of it.

During this cooking class, guest will learn how to cook Pici, Tagliatelle, and Gnocchi as well as the sauces for them. Guest will end up with a lunch or dinner where they will enjoy a typical Tuscan Meal that will include the 3 kinds of pasta they cooked, a selection of Tuscan cold cuts and cheeses, Cantucci and Vinsanto as dessert, the tasting of at least 4/5 of our wines – including our Vernaccia di San Gimignano DOCG and our Chianti Colli Senesi DOCG – and all our e.v.o. oils, flavored and natural.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION

The cooking class is organized throughout the year, booking is recommended, especially in high season. Upon request, preferably at time of booking, they are available for vegetarian menu, vegan and gluten-free or special dietary requirements.

The tasting takes place in Italian and English.
