Podere la Marronaia farm began in the year 2000 when the Dei family purchased this property immersed in the countryside of San Gimignano. This purchase wasn’t only professional but a personal one with a new style of life, and for this reason Podere la Marronaia farm is mainly a family run business and is strongly rooted in the territory.

In 2002 the business started to commercialize products in bottles, starting with extra virgin olive oil and typical wines of the area, Vernaccia di San Gimignano and Chianti Colli Senesi. Over the past few years they have added four more wines using mainly autochthonous grapes vines of the territory.

All of the vineyards, 40 years old, offer products of great quality and as with the olive groves are cultivated following biological agricultural methods.

The products are certified with biological agriculture origin, Sot Icea Toscana.
